    1.Website usage

The following terms of use apply to your use of the WATCHSERVICEUK website (www.watchserviceuk.com). Each time you access this website you agree to comply with, and be bound by, the terms of use and acknowledge that we may rely upon your agreement.

The term ‘WATCHSERVICEUK’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is 4th floor front, 89 Fleet Street, London, EC4Y 1DH. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

  • The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

  • Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

  • This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

  • All trademarks reproduced in this website, which are not the property of, or licensed to the operator, are acknowledged on the website.

  • From time to time, this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

  • Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

  • 2.Service and prices

  • Prices of the services offered by WATCHSERVICEUK are liable to change at any time without notice. We also reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the service (or any part of the service) without notice.

  • By leaving or sending your watch it is understood that you are in agreeance with our terms and conditions.

  • Watches fitted with custom and / or aftermarket casing parts will not be guaranteed water resistant at any time.

  • Water resistance is not a permanent condition and is subject to many variables. A water resistance guarantee will be issued at our discretion upon completion of servicing or other works and is subject to the correct usage of your watch in accordance with all the manufactures recommendations.

  • We offer a twenty four month service warranty. The Warranty is only valid for full and battery replacement services and not for partial services such as clasp/buckle repairs, polishing, glass replacement, dial repair, hands fitting, etc. In the event of a fault covered by the warranty we will repair or replace, at our discretion, any parts required and or rectify the fault as identified by our workshop. This warranty will be invalid if any work or intervention is carried out on your watch by a third party not authorised by us. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear due to ageing also including straps, batteries and normal deterioration.

  • Warranty doesn't cover rusty movements(due to ingress of water), movement  damage due to shock/fall/impact(broken pivots). As water ingress can cause irreversible corrosion and damage to delicate internal parts, we shall not be responsible for the replacement of any parts on watches provided to us with such traces of moisture ingress. Please note the warranty is for the service provided and on replaced parts and not a generic warranty on the watch. Also please note the warranty excludes crowns, pushers and glass/crystal, unless they have been replaced or serviced by WATCHSERVICEUK.

  • As part of a service the timing and accuracy of your watch will be adjusted and tested so as to return your watch with a performance at or as close to the original manufacturer’s specification. It is understood that as a normal condition of ageing accuracy and tolerances may decline so that it may not be possible to return your watch with a performance expected of a new watch. This is a normal consequence of wear and tear for which this company cannot be held responsible.

  • It is understood that from time to time parts and materials may break or fail during the normal repair or servicing process. Whilst we work to the highest industry standards, we cannot accept liability for such breakages to materially worn or substandard parts whilst your watch is in our care as they are beyond our control and could not be reasonably foreseen.

  • We make every reasonable effort to notify customers at the completion of the repair. We assume no responsibility for merchandise that is not claimed within three months following the completion of the repair. The customer acknowledges and agrees that merchandise not claimed within this timeframe may at our discretion be disposed of or sold without liability to the customer.

  • We reserve the right to extend the turnaround time of your watch service, due to the nature of the service such as the ordering and commissioning of parts. Should we extend the duration of your watch service, this will not impact the cost previously agreed for the service and we would advise you first.

  • WATCHSERVICEUK refuses to carry out any work to replica watches.

  • We reserve the right to keep or dispose of parts or components (including glass and watch straps) which we have replaced - unless the customer has requested otherwise and explicitly agreed prior to proceeding.

  • No work is carried out prior to confirmation from the customer, via email, if extra work or spare parts are needed.

  • Once we receive the customer's confirmation to proceed with the quoted work, the customer is fully liable to make payment for the full work carried out and any additional parts or components quoted for.

    3.Payment, Delivery and collection

  • Web site prices of the services offered by WATCHSERVICEUK are liable to change at any time without notice. We also reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the service (or any part of the service) without notice.

  • We reserve the right to not receive or send watches for service via taxi drivers or other third-party couriers. This doesn’t include reputable services such as the Royal Mail, Parcelforce, UPS, DHL etc. If in doubt, please check first.

  • Upon collection of your watch from the store customer will need to provide the original receipt and ID (passport or driving licence) matching name shown in receipt.

  • Once a service or repair is completed, we will contact you via phone or e-mail. We expect payment within 5 working days unless otherwise agreed. We may also ask you for payment in advance if expensive parts are needed for replacement.

  • Serviced watches will be posted or may be collected upon receipt of payment.

  • We do not accept card payment over the phone or online.

  • We charge for return postage if the repair/service is under £100.
